V-Comply is Hiring a Director of Marketing Near Sunnyvale, CA

Company Description

Today, there are over 6k different regulatory compliance frameworks that businesses are required to comply with across different industries. That number is only increasing. Each framework requires multiple time bound responsibilities, obligations, and submission requirements to maintain compliance. Today, most businesses manage this process in spreadsheets, or cobbled together in non-purpose-built solutions.

Our easy-to-use SaaS solution helps our customers manage their internal and external compliance, regulation, risk, and governance practices – avoiding hefty fines, or worse, their ability to conduct business all-together.

When these regulations aren’t followed, or evidence of compliance gets lost, it can be costly. $2.7B worth of regulatory fines were accrued by financial institutions alone in 2021, with the largest fine totaling $700M. Businesses need our software to comply with these regulations to exist. Period.

We’d love for you to join our mission: Enabling every business to accurately predict their risk and proactively comply with their business's obligations with delightful and intuitive software.

Job Description

How You'll Contribute:

As the Director of Marketing for a startup, you will wear multiple hats as we scale. You’ll get to run demand generation, growth marketing, brand marketing, customer marketing, product marketing, field marketing, and you’ll be the core backbone of our product-led / land & expand growth motion.

  • You’ll use OKRs to stay focused, align your team, and prioritize what’s going to move the needle.
  • You’ll work with our sales, product, design & eng teams to develop a product-led flywheel.
  • You’ll use data-driven strategies to measure adoption of our PQLs while developing inventive and engaging marketing campaigns that reduce our CAC.
  • You’ll have the room to fail-forward and experiment to establish new growth channels.
  • You’ll wake up a historically snoozy space with a refined voice and message centered around our customer’s experienced value.
  • You’ll be making a significant difference to current & future customers who’ll leverage V-Comply.

We have a global customer base, and physical office locations in the Bay Area, and India. We’re remote first and have team members spread along the west coast.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

  • You’re motivated and you’ve done something remarkable, or extraordinary in your career.
  • You’ve built and managed a high-performance team with both internal roles and external contractors.
  • You can recite several campaigns you ran or led that generated results, and your eyes lights up with excitement when you tell the story of their success.
  • You’ve got grit, and have shown perseverance to enable your career growth
  • You see a problem that needs solving, and you seek the solution to solve it, without oversight.
  • You’re data driven and understand technology – you don’t have to be able to write queries, but you’re dangerous with spreadsheets, understand software workflows, and can collaborate well with PDE teams.
  • You understand PLG from a growth marketing perspective – registration flows, in app events, adoption moments, and you are comfortable with the tool stack to support this motion.
  • You’ve failed in the past, and you view your failures as an opportunity to learn.
